Been a week with nothing but hand-quilting. Getting itchy again, but inertia is an ass. Starting with what the space needs most right now – a post-wedding overhaul. And more retail therapy. The Guild’s annual fabric sale was on my birthday – coincidence or kismet? Of course, the fridge also died, so all things in moderation.

This year’s birthday to-do list included conquering Mt. Scrapmore yet again. Even more important now that I’ve brought home a bag full of other people’s s-crap-s to fuel the fire. My last attempt was size-based and not as usable as I had hoped. There are once more scraps everywhere, and the thought of spending another day cutting them to size is repellant. I can press for days, but cutting bites.

Brought in bigger bins and went hue-based this time. Picked up some comic book boards and plastic clips so I can see my yardage. One more small drawer organizer on order for the cutting table, but it’s mostly there. For now anyway.

Anticipation…
