That felt like it took forever but whatever. If ever a person needed a distraction, this is the time. Get out of your head and into your hands before you have an aneurysm from the tragic absurdity we’re marinating in.
The original plan for the back included more brickwork, but I only have what I picked up at the guild fabric sale. I bought enough green to skip it entirely, but in the end it had a sorry-Mario-your-princess-is-in-another-castle vibe. It’s at least 4″ over on each side and finally ready for the long-armer. Definitely worth reversing course and pulling the hand-stitching. And a great excuse to order panels I wouldn’t otherwise have a use for. Getting through the day-to-day is going to require a lot more fabric.
