Wedding dress bustled, emails and logins consolidated, website ported, and digital files reorganized. Quite enough adulting for one weekend.
Thought about trying another FPP block, but felt like the hand sewing was on terminal hold. Should probably have gone into it with more of a plan, but seemed more important to break the seal before it became insormountable. And I love the variagated ocean blue thread. Now that it’s overquilted, should probably revisit that plan idea. And maybe watch some hand-quilting videos instead of just piecing videos.
The frame hold things steady, but limits how much I can manipulate the fabric – can’t take multiple stitches unless its quite loose. Probably a good thing; if there’s a bad habit within 50 klicks, I’ll pick it up eventually. I should look for videos now-ish.
