Manged to test a few stitches without going entirely overboard. New quilting needles expected in today as my hand sewing needle stash is woeful. Ended up using a Tulip #10 applique, but its not built for loading layers.
Still trying to wrap my head around an equidistant running stitch as the intentional end goal. Weird. But every stitchcraft has its quirks. Still have to learn the rules before I start breaking them. Maybe it will grow on me once I can do it faster.
And the back is a dumpster fire. Can’t hide shit backstage when you perform in the round. This is going to be an uphill battle.
