Lost one round of bobbin chicken by under an inch, and hit one right on the seam allowance. That was probably my luck for the entire weekend.
So FPP works; it’s very clean. I appreciate the precision. Though, at a smaller scale, I imagine the bulk would accomodate quickly – would have to take the sa down to a scant eighth, which sounds like chicken of a less pleasant variety.
Some of the block edges got a little fussy with the negative space, but not having to bulk or sash the joins was worth it. Added border to the top and sides to balance the negative space at the bottom. Ready for quilting and binding.
