Hexagons are the bestagons

Mock2.0 begets SysTest7.5 and pushed; at this point a reprieve is better than a cigar. Let the delta games begin again.

Wasn’t crazy about the original blocks, but pushed through anyway. Hated the result, ripped it all out and reworked it to use as much of the primary fabric as possible. Most of the joins nested well but the split in the center block is especially noticeable, given the contrast. Damned if isn’t perfect.

Pieced together a serviceable backing from the leftover marble (CJ’s t-shirt quilt) and a green I picked up at last year’s guild sale. This one makes critical mass; rolled out the beast for sandwich time. Should dig through the cast offs; might still be some of the Celtic knot binding hiding somewhere.
