Was overly concerned with testing chain stiches and got sloppy. Quite stupid really – replicated the initial sleeve placement fairly perfectly, rather than mirroring it. It looked fine, but put a twist in the sleeve that had my sensory shit in the red line. Had to pull it and start over; nothing instructs quite like failure. On the bright side, think I can manage irises and maybe a fleur-de-lis in addition to the daisy if I practice.
Once the cuffs were reduced – until I spend another year pushing them up to 3/4 – tried an interior basketweave repair. Had I color matched, the repair would be nearly invisible from the outside and minimally invasive on the interior; excellent for less whimiscal fixes.
